Enhancing Korea's status as an IP power
in the world

The KPAA will enhance the international status of Korea as an IP power.

The KPAA actively interacts and cooperates with various
global IP institutions and patent attorney groups around the world.
The KPAA will lead the way for Korea to establish itself as one
of the strongest IP powers in the world.

Interactions with foreign patent attorney organizations

· The KPAA is enhancing non-governmental, international IP cooperation by holding regular meetings like joint board of director meetings and seminars with patent attorney groups from countries such as Germany, China, Japan, and other countries.

Interactions with international IP organizations

· The KPAA contributes to improving Korea’s IP system by actively interacting with global IP institutions such as the Global IP Network Summit Meeting(GIPS), American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).

Holding Seminars for IP Professionals

· The KPAA holds various seminars including intellectual property seminars and patent attorney forums by inviting domestic and foreign IP professionals and thus seeks to improve the IP capability of Korea.
